Kidney Bean

Kidney beans are a variety of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris). It is also called Borlotti bean or Roman bean in different languages. It was developed in Italy. It is still used in Italian, Spanish, Turkish and Greek cuisines.

It is considered a variety of “Cranberry” beans developed in Colombia.

It is similar to pinto beans in image but differs in taste.
